Divas Champion Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks (Triple Threat Match)
Shawn Michaels: Because Naitch is in her corner and I don’t think he’s going to allow his daughter to lose at WrestleMania, I’m going with Charlotte. He’ll pull out all the stops to make sure Charlotte walks out with the gold, because gold is clearly pretty darn important in that family. WINNER: Charlotte

Mick Foley: I really am a huge fan of these women, and watching Becky and Sasha is as close as I get to watching my own kids play soccer or basketball. It’ll be a nail-biter for sure, but I just have this image of The Boss with the championship held aloft in front of a sea of WWE fans in Dallas. WINNER: Sasha Banks

Edge: This is the second toughest match of the night to call. My gut says Becky. My mind says Sasha. Either way, someone walks out as the new champion. WINNER: n/a

    Charlotte: 1, Sasha Banks: 1

    Friends no more

Diamonds may be forever, but when it comes to the Divas Championship, three of The Four Horsewomen clearly are not. Now that Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch set on a collision course for the Divas Title at WrestleMania (fellow fourth Horsewoman Bayley has her own plans for WrestleMania Week), it appears the soli……darity from their NXT days is out the window and off the table. SmackDown’s face-to-face-to-face turned physical in a heartbeat, and Charlotte admittedly caught the worse of it. The champion, as we know, does not like being shown up in such a manner. Expect this rivalry to kick into gear in a big way come Raw.

We are back and Charlotte makes her way to the ring with her father Ric Flair.

Charlotte says in a little over two weeks, she will be defending her Divas Championship at Wrestlemania against two women that she has known most of her adult life. She says they have laughed. They have fought. They have made up. They have fallen apart. She says that she would not be standing here today if it wasn’t for the two of them.

Charlotte asks for Sasha and Becky to remember their history and accept her invitation.

Becky is the first one to make her way to the ring.

Charlotte asks if there is anyone else. Any BFFs?

Becky says she doesn’t do BFFs after her last one.

Charlotte says that she can always count on Becks.

Becky says you can count on her too. You can count on her taking the title at Wrestlemania.

Charlotte tells Becky to hold on . . .

and Sasha Banks makes her way to the ring.

Charlotte points out that Sasha finally decided to show up.

Sasha says she is the boss and you don’t tell her when to show up.

Becky wants to make sure this bickering does not litter their Road to Wrestlemania.

Charlotte says she has been thinking about NXT. They trained together every day. This is what they have worked for. Charlotte says she remembers the day she said she met the most talented women. Ric said they sound like the Horsemen. Charlotte says maybe they are the Horsewomen. Charlotte says she thought that he was going to disown her for that comment. Charlotte says that Ric said if they are who they say they are, then you are the Horsewomen.

Charlotte says she hates to admit when she is wrong, but that is why she brought them out. It is to apologize. She wants to apologize to everyone sitting at home. Charlotte tells her father that she is sorry FOR EVER THINKING THESE TWO WERE WORTHY OF BEING CALLED HORSEWOMEN.

Becky says she was wondering when the real Charlotte would appear.

Sasha wants to know if that was what Charlotte wanted to bring her out for. To embarrass them?

Charlotte says she has felt guilty since her dad’s faction granted their name to two women who don’t deserve it.
Becky asks about what does Charlotte deserve. Becky says she thought maybe there was a shred of human decency in there. Then you threw everything away that they worked for. You can call her an Irish Lass Kicker or a Horsewoman. Whatever you want to call her, but at Wrestlemania you will be calling her the woman who will be ripping off your arm and taking your title.

Sasha stops Becky and she says you are not taking the title. Sasha says she pinned Charlotte to become the NXT Women’s Champion. Sasha says she has not been beaten since she debuted. She belongs to be here unlike Becky.

Becky says she has earned her way into the match unlike some people.

Sasha tells Becky she had her chance and she failed so Becky needs to go to the back of the line.

Becky says she would have won but Daddy Dearest cheated to keep the title on his daughter. Becky says she hasn’t gotten her rematch since the Royal Rumble. It takes more than a self entitled ego and some dollar store jewelry to be a boss.

Sasha and Becky push each other while Charlotte laughs and that leads to Becky and Sasha attacking Charlotte. Becky with an exploder and Sasha with a lungblower but Charlotte gets out of the ring before Sasha can apply the Banks Statement.

The 10 greatest Divas Matches of all time
    Published by:

    6. Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks – NXT Women’s Championship Match; NXT TakeOver: R Evolution

What Charlotte and Sasha Banks created at NXT TakeOver: R Evolution represents, in many ways, a connecting bridge on the roadmap of the Divas Revolution. Placed smack-dab in the middle of the uprising’s first swell, the two former teammates made a clear statement — Diva matches continually winning the night wasn’t some fluke, but an actualized and ever-present reality.

The contest — rife with athleticism, tenacity and in-ring skill — was filled with dynamic moments and artful counters that were still, even then, somewhat foreign for audiences to consistently see within the Divas division. Charlotte prevailed over Banks, but only after the two Horsewomen, in many ways as a unit, firmly planted their flag as the future of not only the Divas division, but WWE at large.

    5. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch — NXT Women’s Championship Match; NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable

Going into this match, you’d say the name “Becky Lynch” and even the most hardened yellow-ropes fan would go “Hmmm.” A world-traveled competitor who’d gone come into NXT under the guise of an Irish jigger, she’d been remade (thankfully) into a frantic brawler, the so-called “Lass Kicker” had yet to cement herself as a true player going into her title bout against Sasha Banks, though her performance in that Fatal 4-Way surely raised a few eyebrows.

Call this match Becky Lynch’s coming-out party, then. Debuting her trademark steampunk duster and goggles for the first time, “Maiden Ireland’s” maiden voyage into the big time showed the Universe exactly what kind of first-class competitor they’d been missing. She lost, ultimately, to The Boss, but even in defeat, Becky was showered with praise by the NXT fans who sang her theme song, ensuring that nobody’d ever overlook her for the rest of her days. Slàinte.

    4. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks — 30-Minute Iron Man NXT Women’s Championship Match; NXT TakeOver: Respect

Who says the sequel can never measure up to the original? Bayley and Sasha Banks needed something big to seal the book on their rivalry and meet the mark set by their NXT Women’s Title clash at TakeOver: Brooklyn (which we’re getting to, don’t worry). The first-ever women’s Iron Man Match in WWE history gave them just the opportunity to do so.

Competing under the shadow of history and shouldering the burden of making it all over again, NXT’s “iron women” delivered in every sense of the word. The contest was much more deliberate than their whirling-dervish battle in Brooklyn, but the big moments shone all the brighter. None more so than the post-match celebration, in which Sasha and the victorious Bayley received twin bouquets of flowers in a fete that was part sendoff for The Boss (thank you Sasha, indeed) and part coronation for the new queen. Long may she reign.

    1. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley – NXT Women’s Championship Match; NXT: TakeOver – Brooklyn

Too often in this social media age do viewers become prisoners of the moment. Audiences see something they find enjoyable, immediately get swept up, declare it as the “greatest ever,” and then, with the passage of time, realize they may have been somewhat knee-jerk. It happens all the time — but it won’t with Sasha Banks and Bayley’s Women’s Championship Match from NXT: TakeOver: Brooklyn. No years of reflection are needed with this one; it really was that good.

Yes, Bayley won the contest and the championship in an absolute thriller, but to strictly classify the contest as an underdog triumph would be a disservice to the greater significance of the evening.

In an amazing post-match scene , Charlotte and Becky Lynch rushed to the ring to embrace with Bayley and Banks. The NXT Universe remained steadfast on their feet to heap ample praise to both the match and the Four Horsewomen themselves. In that precise moment, it all became definitive — the revolution was here, it was real and it had, indeed, been televised.

Divas Champion Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks (Triple Threat Match)

Which revolutionary will surge past her competition in her WrestleMania debut?

Last July, Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch sparked a revolution. Arriving to WWE at the exact same moment, the three NXT alumnae immediately dug in their heels and put the Divas division’s old guard on notice: Change had arrived.

Months removed from their historic debuts, the significance of the uprising is more obvious than ever, as Charlotte — now the reigning Divas Champion — gets set to defend the title against The Boss and The Irish Lass Kicker in a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania. The match was made official on March 3 after a No. 1 Contender’s Rematch between Becky and Sasha on SmackDown ended in controversy, thanks to interference by Charlotte.

Regardless of what Charlotte’s intentions were, her actions resulted in her now having to face not one, but two challengers on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

On-off rivals and teammates since their earliest days in NXT, all three Divas have been linked together since the start. Yet, each brings a unique fighting style and distinct motivation to WrestleMania’s Divas Championship Match.

Becky Lynch is knocking on the door telling Sasha that they are next.

Sasha tells Becky that she had her beat on Raw and Smackdown and if it wasn’t for Charlotte and her Hugh Hefner father, it would be her and Charlotte at Wrestlemania. Instead it is them and a leprechaun.

Becky tells Sasha that she almost had her beat and Sasha would be at home watching Wrestlemania on her couch eating ice cream at Wrestlemania.

    We go to commercial.

We are back and Charlotte and Ric Flair are at ringside to watch this match.

Match Number Four: Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch versus Tamina and Naomi

Tamina and Becky start things off and Tamina with a kick and hair toss. Tamina goes after Sasha on the apron and then Tamina works over Becky in the ropes and hits a head butt to get a near fall. Tamina punches Becky and Irish whips her and hits a splash into the corner. Tamina with an Irish whip but Tamina misses a splash.

Sasha and Naomi are tagged in and Sasha with clotheslines. Sasha blocks a kick and connects with a kick. Sasha with a double knee take down and she gets a near fal. Tamina gets involved and Becky stops her. Tamina pulls Becky to the floor and sends her into the ringside barrier. Sasha with a lungblower into Banks Statement and Naomi taps out.

Winners: Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch

After the match, Charlotte attacks Sasha from behind and she sends Sasha into the mat. Charlotte with an Exploder to Becky.
